Albany International Q3 2026: Record composites revenue on aerospace ramps, CH-53K settlement resolves legacy risk.

Albany International delivered consolidated revenue of $349.5 million, up 34% year-over-year, driven by engineered composites reaching record quarterly revenue of $179.7 million on higher production rates across LEAP, Boeing platforms, CH-53K, and missile programs. The renegotiation of the CH-53K contract removed $147 million in prior-year loss reserves and improved segment economics by approximately $44 million in adjusted EBITDA this quarter, though the underlying engineered composites margin was 12.5% excluding one-time benefits. Management expects continued aerospace and defense program ramps through 2027, with margin expansion targeted to mid-teens by year-end 2027, supported by pricing gains, volume growth, and new contract wins including a $21.2 million IBAS award for ceramics matrix composites capacity.
