Avient Q3 2026: 10.6% organic growth and record 17.3% EBITDA margin drive guidance raise as new CEO sets acceleration agenda
Avient delivered a record third-quarter EBITDA margin of 17.3% — up 80 basis points year-over-year — on 10.6% organic sales growth, beating adjusted EPS expectations by $0.06 and triggering a full-year guidance raise at the midpoint. The result was broad-based: eight of nine end markets grew, defense and consumer each delivered double-digit gains, and healthcare in the Specialty Engineered Materials segment returned to double-digit growth after a first-half inventory rebalancing headwind. Incoming CEO Mike Frank, three weeks into his tenure, signals an acceleration mandate focused on faster innovation commercialization, cross-segment go-to-market, and manufacturing footprint rationalization — with 2027 operating plan specifics deferred to the Q4 earnings call in February.
